Hokkaido 2023

In 2018, I travelled to Japan for the first time and spent the winter season working around Hokkaido. It was love at first turn. The pastoral and winter paradise that is the North island of Japan has gently haunted my dreams ever since.

I recently returned for the first time since the pandemic shut down travel to Japan for the last few years. Here’s a quick video recap of our trip. We had an all-time fun crew from Pro Guiding Service. Nourishing food, fresh Sapporo beer, rejuvenating onsen soaks, deep pow, welcoming locals, magical woods, majestic alpine summits…it all makes for one unforgettable trip.
